Tourists no. 1 reason of visiting to Siem Reap, Cambodia is to discover Angkor Wat Temple. But, before you can actually visit the temple, as a tourist who are from age 12 yrs. old and above, you are required to personally purchase a ticket at Angkor Ticketing Office, payable by cash/ credit card and accepted currency both in USD or Khr.
If you plan to visit temples, ticket cost per person age 12yrs+ is
$72usd, 7 days pass= 7 non consecutive days visit within a month from date of purchase;
$62usd, 3 days pass= 3 non consecutive days visit within 10 days from date of purchase;
$37usd, 1 day pass only
Advance purchase of ticket for the next day use, only allowed AFTER 5:00pm-5:30pm. If you purchase your ticket from 5:00am-5:00pm, ticket is automatically dated used in that present day.
Purchasing ticket only takes 5-20min. Which they will take a photo of you to be attached to the ticket cause it is non transferable.
For children below 12yrs old are only require to bring their passport for confirmation of age, as they are free of charge.
